Ideology

I wander this barren desert leaving footprints in the sand,
but yours are not much deeper than the sands of time that blew them away.

Past

Jon has been playing in bands and as a solo artist since he was 16. As a singer/songwriter highlights include performing original material at numerous festivals as well as being the first to play the KC Stadium, Hull (it wasn't Elton John) to an audience of 14,000 with sibling and winner of the New York Music and film festival for his genre, Mike Rogers.

Other highlights include playing alongside the late, great, critically acclaimed blues and world music performer Nashid from Zero Degree Atol (in both the UK and US), recording with legendary producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes) and performing with Gerry Marsden's Pace Makers.

Appearances have included performances throughout the UK, Europe and State-side.

Presence

2016 saw the start of Jon finally getting into the studio to record some of his original material. Inspired to do so by his father's terminal illness, and in an aim to share something he'd always encouraged Jon to do, it was unfortunately never completed in time. But this did give way to the tribute track 'Presence' as well as adding a couple of newer tracks to the self-bio piece spanning over 20 years of songwriting written from the age of 16.

Jon can be found (Covid depending) performing original and cover material as a solo artist, duo performances with renowned pro-bassist Paul Mallatratt, with is brother Mike Rogers or with guitarist Dom Holland.

Mike is an award-winning solo artist, claiming ‘Best rock acoustic artist’ at the New York Music and Film Awards. Mike has worked with legendary producer Gordon Raphael (The Strokes) and has played alongside members of Motley Crue, Gun’s and Roses and The Stray Cats.

Paul has performed in the pit orchestras of many well-known musicals and has performed in a world premier concert at the Edinburgh Festival. As an accomplished session musician and producer, Paul has performed with UK and international artists including Dale Storr (solo, King King, Frank White), Danny Bryant, Dom Pipkin (Paloma Faith) and the late great Kevin Thorpe to name a few.

Dom has a wealth of experience playing for many bands and artists, appearing on albums worldwide, both as a session player and as an artist in his own right. Among others, some of Dom's endorsements include Orange Amplification, Ernie Ball and Faith guitars.
